Movement Director/Choreographer
Current works-A Love Letter To Humanity, A Celebration In Existing at All
‘The Love Letter Series’ is a culmination of solos that celebrate each individual’s current existence. The solos stand testament to the many questions asked of oneself and the brutal honesty that is required to celebrate your current existence. The series cultivates in a vibrant, virtuous and honest series of solos which can stand alone in the space or can be combined to create an on-mass, large scale work, of up to 50/100 (and so on) movers, moving simultaneously within a common energy. (I call this sound waving)
The work is for the people, celebrated among the people and encourages movement universally to delve deeper in to the self to find their true meaning of humanity. It is a process which enables each mover or artist to connect with their external and internal canvas and walk that freely among the people. In return the spectator or observer, who walk/observe freely among the people, can gain an element of empathy for the being's who stand in front of them but ultimately that empathy can circulate back to the viewer enabling a sense of questioning or series of questions to be unraveled outside of the existing work.

InBox-An emergent choreographer yearly support programme devised and created by Rachel Kay
"With Creation Box's InBox sharing, I was given complete freedom to share the best side of myself and my works. With fantastic guidance, a programme tailored to my needs/ambitions, and a collaborative approach to organising the sharing's specifics, Creation Box provided me with an invaluable opportunity where many doors were opened. These doors continue to remain wide open with the supportive 'doorstoppers' that Creation Box continue to provide to me."
